The Prequalification Call
Building strong relationships with our clients is at the core of what we do. That’s why we start with a prequalification call. This conversation is where we first connect, establishing a foundation of transparency and trust. During the call, we’ll discuss your fitness goals, what you’re hoping to achieve, and your expectations for personal training.
The purpose of the prequalification call is twofold:
- To ensure we’re a good fit for your needs and goals.
- To provide clear information about our services and pricing, so you’re never surprised or “ambushed” by unexpected costs. We make adjustements to our services which is why they aren’t posted on our website. Also, how we do things requires some explination as seen by this blog.
We believe the foundation of any good relationship is trust, and that starts with open communication. By the end of the call, you’ll know exactly what to expect from our programs and whether Mountain Speed, Strength, and Fitness is the right place for you.
The Free Intro Session: Creating your roadmap for sucess
Once you’re ready to move forward, we invite you to a free intro session. This session is a deeper dive into your goals and injury history, allowing us to:
- Discuss your specific goals (whether it’s improving mobility, losing weight, increasing strength, or enhancing athletic performance)
- Review your injury history to understand any limitations
- Evaluate your schedule to find a plan that fits your lifestyle
- Identify what you need from our coaches to support your journey
During the intro session, we also guide you through a custom movement screen. This screening assesses your current mobility, strength, and any restrictions, ensuring that we build a program tailored to your unique needs. This screen is more of a look at how you move rather than, how much you can move. Don’t worry no sweating involved. Our goal is to give you a roadmap that outlines how we’ll help you achieve your fitness goals safely and effectively.
How the Personal Training Sessions Work
Our small group personal or semi-private training sessions are designed to provide the individualized attention of one-on-one training while offering the motivational benefits of a small group setting. Each session includes six or fewer people, allowing us to keep costs lower (less than half of traditional 1-1 training) while maintaining high-quality, personalized coaching.
Here’s what a typical session looks like:
- Group Warm-Up: Every session begins with a warm-up that everyone does together. This warm-up focuses on mobility, joint preparation, and getting your body ready for more intensive work.
- Individualized Workouts: After the warm-up, each client breaks off into their own customized workout based on their goals, injury history, and experience level.
- Cost: With this type of training we are able to slash the price of conventional 1-to-1 peronsal training in half, while still keeping a high level of scheduling flexibility and quality
A common question is whether there’s a coach available to help with form and technique. With our small group format, the coach is able to work closely with each member, providing guidance, adjusting exercises, and offering motivation. This structure allows you to enjoy the camaraderie of a group setting while following a workout that’s completely personalized to you.
